The James P. O'Connell Foundation is proud to announce the 4th Annual "It's All About Love" Tennis Charity Event on Saturday, September 13, 2025!
This exciting event is a testament to the Foundation's mission of promoting love, support, and community through various initiatives. In the first three years over $100,000 has been raised and put to work in our community.
Last year, the "It's All About Love" Tennis Charity Event was a huge success, bringing together tennis enthusiasts, local celebrities, and community members to raise funds and awareness for the Foundation's various programs. This year, the Foundation is set to bring an even bigger and better experience, filled with exciting activities and opportunities for guests to get involved.
The event promises a fun-filled day of tennis and community building, featuring clinics, a professional exhibition, and lunch. The 2024 MAC Champion UT Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams will join the clinics and exhibition, making it an exciting event for tennis enthusiasts. Additionally, the event offers various sponsorship opportunities, catering to businesses and individuals seeking to support the Foundation and its mission. From presenting sponsors to silver sponsors, there’s something for everyone.
In addition to the tennis, guests will have the chance to interact with international professional tennis players Luke and Murphy Jensen.

2nd Annual University of Dayton James P. O’Connell Memorial Invitational

Location: Lindner Family Tennis Center – Mason, Ohio
The JPO Foundation and the University of Dayton are proud to present the 2nd Annual James P. O’Connell Memorial Invitational, hosted at the prestigious Lindner Family Tennis Center, home of the Cincinnati Open.
This year’s tournament will feature nine top collegiate men’s teams from the Midwest, bringing high-level competition to one of the nation’s premier tennis venues.
The JPO Foundation and the University of Dayton Men’s Tennis Program are committed to making this invitational an annual tradition, with the goal of growing its reach and reputation in the years ahead. Players, families, and fans can look forward to elite competition and a first-class experience.
Admission is free, and all proceeds from sponsorships will benefit non-profit mental health providers in Hamilton County that counsel young adults in unhealthy relationships and offer crisis mental health services.
