I’ll be running in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 8, 2023, as a member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Race for Hope team. Now that I’ve raised the minimum, it’s time to fundraise for the cause that I’m running for.

I will be running in memory of my cousin, James O'Connell, who took his life. Since his passing, the JPO Foundation was formed with the mission to educating, supporting, and promoting healthy relationships, ​better access to ​mental health, and crisis intervention
services.

You can help bring hope to all of us that have been touched by suicide by contributing to my fundraiser. The money I raise for JPO will go towards Toledo nonprofits that align with the JPO mission.
